Quiet Spots, 2025, Alanna Baird
In September 2024 the District of Carleton North NB invited professional artists and artist teams from New Brunswick to submit their qualifications for consideration to design, create and install a permanent, site-specific artwork to celebrate the new Bun Veysey Recreation Centre in the District of Carleton North.
‘Quiet Spots’ by New Brunswick artist Alanna Baird, is a series of colourful wall panels that flow around the perimeter of the walking track, just as the river flows through the community and the people using the track flow in and around the activities of the Active Living Centre.
