Come join Monike Hawkes-Frost and help create a beautiful tapestry inspired by New Brunswick’s Potato Barns and Fields! Learn how to weave on our tapestry loom located at The River Art Centre & Studios. Participants will all have a chance to help weave on our hand made loom, creating this community tapestry celebrating one of our local cultures and traditions. Bring other works in progress to work on as you take turns learning this traditional process and socialize with friends.
This class will run Thursday’s Nov. 5 to Dec. 10 from 6:30-8pm and is for anyone 15 years and up.
Pre-registration is required. Cost is $8 per person per class.
