Opening Reception: Thursday September 29 (7-9PM)
On display September 29th – November 5, 2016
This exhibition will feature work inspired by my native and beloved home province of New Brunswick as well as a few things inspired by recent trips to Scotland and Ireland … the land of my ancestors. I work in the watercolour and egg tempera painting media and both media will be shown. The images that I paint, are usually created from a combination of memory and imagination. Although my work is realistic in genre, I always must feel an emotional connection with my subject matter and therefore, the final result is not simply a direct reproduction of an image or place.
