Summer Art Camps are back for 2025!

Join us at the River Art Centre (8746 Main St., Florenceville-Bristol) for another exciting summer of creativity! This year’s camps are open to ages 5–6, 7–9, 10–14, and 15+, and we’re delighted to welcome Emma Jones as our instructor.

Hands On, July 2-4 *Closed for Registrations

Ages 7-9 / 3-Day Camp / 9:30am-11:30am daily / $45

Ages 10-14 / 3-Day Camp / 1:00pm-4:00pm daily / $60

Art making doesn’t need to be complicated, sometimes all you need are your hands! Mold your creativity to life, and explore a variety of tactile mediums like clay and fibres.

Let’s Tell a Story/ Let’s Make a Book, July 8-10 *Closed for Registrations

Ages 7-9 / 3-Day Camp / 9:30am-11:30am daily / $45

Bring a story to life with art! Go through the motions of making characters, creating settings for them and see how you can tell a story without words.

Ages 10-14 / 3-Day Camp / 1:00pm-4pm daily / $60

Explore the world of book binding and see how you can use a multitude of different techniques to create a book! Discuss what binds, and materials are suited best for different kinds of books.

Learn new techniques and ways of working by exploring new mediums like “cameraless” photography, gouache painting, still life drawing and more. You know the basics and the rules of art, now it’s time to make your practice your own!

Drawing doesn’t just have to be pencil on paper, explore the different ways you can draw and see the vast world of materials you can use to draw with!

Explore how you can make art based on the world around you! Create landscape, portrait, and still life drawings while learning new techniques to bring your drawings to life.
