Dive into exploring clay with a sampling of different handbuilding techniques in this course for beginners. Each Wednesday students will be guided through a unique handbuilding project that introduces a new skill. Participants will also have the opportunity to manage their own ongoing self-directed piece throughout the course and during free time. You will learn about slab building, slump molds, could building, pinchpots, lidded jars, and sculpture – with the final week for glaze decorating! Each participant will complete 6 unique pieces to take home.
Bring your curiosity, embrace imperfection, willingness to get messy, and openness to play!
