New Public Art & ice cream – a perfect thing to do on a warm summer evening

The Town of Florenceville-Bristol and the Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery have partnered in 2021 to commission a work of art from local artist Colin Smith.

The selected sculpture will be installed on the north corner of the River Art Centre on Main Street in September 2021. The artist has prepared 3 designs for the site, one of which will be chosen by the Public Art Selection Committee this month.

Have your say between 6 pm and 8 pm on Thursday June 10, 2021

There will be a Public Consultation on Thursday, June 10 from 6-8 pm at the Gallery. Bring the whole family to talk to the artist, look at his 3 designs and provide your feedback which will be shared with the the selection committee when it meets. The Boardwalk Cafe Ice Cream Cart will be there too (cash only).
