A community celebration of the harvest, the handmade and our heritage featuring a Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market, Harvest Breakfast, Family Fun Run, Outdoor Food Court, Canning & Baking Competition and Activities.   This event is a fundraiser for the Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery. All proceeds go towards the Gallery and Art Education Programming in our community.

Schedule of Events

Harvest Breakfast by Donation – 8:00-10:30am
Family 5K Color Run – 9:00am
(Registration from 8:00-8:45am – T-Shirts for first 20 Adults & first 20 Kids)
Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market – 9:00 am-2:00pm
Homemade Goods Contest – 9:30am-1:30pm
Jams & Jellies 9:30am – Pickles & Relish 10:30am
Sweets 11:30am – Pies 12:30pm – Breads, Rolls & Biscuits 1:30pm

* Registration for the Family 5K Color Run will run from 8-8:45am.  Kids are $5, Adults are $10 and Families are $25.  Free T-Shirts for the first 20 Adults and first 20 Kids.  Proceeds will go to children’s art education programming at the Gallery and the Cap-Haitien Orphanage in Haiti.  Color powder supplies are limited, so be sure to arrive and register early!

* Items for the Homemade Goods Contest can be dropped off  at the Northern Carleton Civic Centre on Friday September 16 7-9pm or before 8:45am on Saturday September 17.

* Please note, as of September 2, 2016, we are sold out of vendor spaces for this year’s Festival.  We still have outdoor spaces available for food vendors only.  Please contact bryanne@mccainartgallery.com with any questions.
