DESCRIPTION:Opening reception Thursday January 12\, 2017 from 7-9pm \nPlease join the Gallery in welcoming our first exhibiting artist of the year\, Bob Morouney. \n“Pandemonium Diary is comprised of 50 copperplate etchings\, all visual metaphors. Buildings\, as metonym\, are the focus of chimerical juxtaposition wherein the disparate elements are reconciled only through insight. The images are narrative moments. The stories glimpsed are full of agency and refute the “common sense” that veils unquestioned assumptions. In all images the stories are simple and offer a choice of interpretations\, wherein lies their power to encourage a fresh look at the familiar.” \nA copperplate workshop will follow on Saturday January 14 from 9am-4pm\, cost $90.
