SUMMARY:The Private Collection of Laura McCain
DESCRIPTION:Join us Saturday\, May 3\, 2-5 pm\, as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of our building\, home to our Public Library and Art Gallery. The Andrew & Laura McCain building\, donated to the Town of Florenceville-Bristol in 1984 by the McCain Family\, provided the foundation from which the Library and Gallery have offered 30 years of access for all to Art\, Culture\, and Literacy in our community! In honour of her grandparents Andrew and Laura McCain\, Laura is honoured to present her private collection of New Brunswick art. Each was purchased at Gallery 78 in Fredericton\, NB\, who have graciously partnered with The Andrew & Laura McCain Art Gallery in making this exhibition possible. Many exhibiting artists will be in attendance at the celebration Saturday\, May 3\, along with special guest speakers Inge & Germaine Pataki of Gallery 78.
