Debbie Keeler lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick and spends part of her year in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her art work reflects these environments with a simple, yet evocative use of space, color and lines.
Debbie reinvented herself to become an artist. Her work is reflective of her maturity, her love of nature and the peace she feels when she paints.
Debbie began as an abstract watercolourist and then studied under a variety of accomplished artists, particularly Judith Dazzio of St. Petersburg, Florida, through whom she also met several other inspiring artists. Other influences include photographer Freeman Patterson, and many post-impressionist artists.
“My main art medium is Acrylic Paint but I also dabble in oil and watercolour and mixed media. Recently I discovered driftwood and other found objects.”
